About Us

Forward Planning & Design Ltd is a small Architectural Practice based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, which was formed in 2005 by Jonathan Holmes who has in excess of 20 years experience in the industry.

We undertake a wide range of projects but specialise in Residential Design, taking on projects from large residential housing projects, single dwellings, barn conversions to small domestic extensions and loft conversions. Planning & Buildings Regulations Applications.

Using our experience our designs and specifications are practical and achievable. We aim to be creative, innovative and imaginative, but not if this means you the client incurring excessive cost. Constructions, materials and components will be suggested with this in mind and our package will be tailored to suit your needs.

Forward Planning & Designs aim is to provide an efficient, tailored architectural design service to all clients. We are equally at home working with private clients, builders, developers or large businesses.

To ensure the design and approval process is as straight forward as possible we endeavour to provide clear, quality and accurate information. With this package of information competitive and accurate build prices can be obtained. Detailed drawings and site supervision can be provided to minimise the level of stress when the build is in progress ensuring the build is delivered on time and to budget.

We are Members of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists and Chartered Institute of Building and are bound by their Codes of Practice.

Our aim is to offer a quick turnaround on projects typically one to two weeks from the initial client meeting. We take pride in our work and our friendly but professional approach, ensuring our clients get a value for money competitive service, with the benefit of our local knowledge.
